In the 21st Century classroom, computers are no longer add-ons; they're essential. All students at Mingo Central Comprehensive and Tug Valley High Schools receive netbooks to use in class and take home. Teachers count on students having access to the Internet and cloud-based tools while at school, moving computer usage from an occasional occurrence to an everyday expectation. Every school in Mingo County connects to the world via 100 Gb fiber optic connections, and every classroom provides a commercial-grade wireless networking, an interactive whiteboard, document camera, projector, and at least one personal computer.
